But here's the catch... you need a limited slip diff!
Or 2 ropes. One on each tire.

If it is just a small soft mud spot you may be able to find six men to lift the bumper and push it out. Especially if it has dried up a bit.

Rule number one, is do not spin the tires and let it dig down to the axle.

Supose to work, but never tried it.

hi-lift

You can use a hi-lift jack as a wench. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOcQHqLx90g

They're available at many farm supply places and hardware stores.

Anchor it to a tree then pull yourself out using your tow hooks up front. If you don't have tow hooks you can use your tow hitch in the rear.

Hell, if you're near Paw Paw, WV and still stuck by the time I'm up there around the 20th I'll pull you out myself lol

Lol, thanks for the offer. I'm actually in Ontario, but from WV, if I was in WV I know 20 guys with 4x4.

Finally bit the bullet and got hauled out by a Cheby 2500 last night. Rented a four ton comealong to use but then someone showed up to help with a 4x4 I didn't know they had access too.

It all worked out, even if it was a Chevy that pulled me out.. lol.

Thanks again for the tips guys, learned a lot anyway...
