we got 40k out of my dads first set on his 06 which is now my sisters. he has 25k on his 08 and they seem to be doing about the same. i would definitely recommend a different tire, i hate driving their trucks in the rain. the rear always wants to slide out in poor weather.

I still have my Perelli's and am looking forward t getting rid of them .

I agree they have poor traction when just wet conditions are present . Snow is worse.

I have the 2" leveling kit from AutoSpring. It was $65 shipped to my door. Can't beat that! Despite only being the 2" kit, it actually caused my front end to sit 1/2" higher than the rear. I knew this wasn't a problem in my case since I was going to install the Firestone Riderite airbags before racing season. I installed the airbags about month ago and am 100% satisfied with the end results!!!

Regarding the rubbing, any tire this big (305/55 or larger) will have rubbing to some degree if you're using the factory 20's (unless you have a lift kit). For the 305's, the rubbing is just the absolute tiniest at full lock, nothing I am concerned about anymore. At first I questioned their size once I realized the sidewall just touched the upper control arm at FULL lock. It became moot in real world driving though. I just ensure I don't turn the steering wheel to full lock.

If I had to do it all over again, I would still go with this same set up. I LOVE the aggressive and truly unique look of the Mickey's compared to the run-of-the-mill Nitto's and Toyo's which you see on 95% of the trucks out there. I have yet to see a truck in my neck of the woods with them. Their performance is astounding to say the least. They proved it to me this winter 10-fold! They are DEFINTELY worth the price!

My FX2 has right over 32K on the clock and the Pirellis are about shot. Looking forward to replacing them with Kumhos.

I have them, and the flat spots **** me off, every morning I have to feel my truck shake like the tires are way off balance for the first min or two after getting on the highway, then she smooths out nice. Dry traction is great with these tires, wet I cant complain, snow they don't do terrible. They only way of stopping the flat spotting is to pump them up to about 40 - 45 pound, then they ride ruff but you don't have the vibrating in the morning. I have 30k on mine and they are probably good for another 20, not looking forward to replacing them, tires are $pensive.

I have the Pirelli Scorpion 22 inchers on my 2008 Limited. I am very happy with them. I have 24,000 miles so far, and should reach 40,000 with no problem. Traction is good (I'm supercharged), and they have stayed balanced. I keep them rotated, and wear has been even. At replacement time, I will consider them again. Perhaps there is a difference between the 20 inchers on the FX2, versus 22 inchers on the Limited?

I have the 20" scorpions on my 2006 FX4.

They have around 44k miles on them and it looks like I can get 15-20k more out of them. As far as traction not the best in wet/snow, but overall I would rate them as GOOD because of the amount of miles I can get out of them and the traction is good(not great, but not poor either). No road noise, it's mosre of a road tire and not "all terrain" as it says.........

The 20" scorpions are ATR's while the 22's are STR's two totally different tire designs with two different tread patterns. The 22's used on the limited and harley's are excellent tires, the junk ones are the 20" ATR's used on the lariat's, fx4's, and fx2's.
