Where can i find a replacement

Where can i find a replacement

Where can i find a replacement brake line? im not sure how it happends but my front brake line is leaking. so i need a new one but im not sure where to go. can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be Greatly appreciated!! i need the brake line and bolt the bolts it into the caliper!!

Others will probably have better suggestions as I don't know much, but if you call your local Ford dealer they can give you the part numbers then you can run it on www.TascaFordParts.com and plug in the numbers there to see if they have it. If they do, it'll more than likely be less expensive than getting it from the dealer.

Though a place like AutoZone or Bennet Auto Supply or PepBoys might carry them too.

thanks ill check that out. i didnt try autozone although i will tomorrow. i did try O'rielleys but they dont carry it. thanks for lookin out though

I assume you are asking about the solid tubing line not flexible. When I tried to find a replacement line for my wife's Mercury Sable a couple of years ago I was told by 2 dealers that they Ford doesn't sell pre-bent brake lines. They suggested I go to NAPA where they sell different lengths of straight tubing with different fittings and bend it myself to fit, which is what I did. It sounded like BS to me, but I didn't have time to argue with them.

Actually i am reffering to the flex hose. i need the one that has a sort of block at the caliper and goes connected to the hard line. its probably about 8 inches long. Thanks for the advice guys

hey can you give me a little more info on what you bought? what all came with the kit? the website hardly says anything so im trying to get some info. you wouldn't happen to have pics would you? lmk thanks!

I bought RUS-693360 Brake Line Kit. It came with three brake lines, 3 clips, 4 washers and no instructions.
One line each for the two front calipers, and one for the rear (frame to axle). It looks just like the ones in the picture.

do the ones for the front come with that small block attached that bolts up to the caliper? sorry for so many questions i would just hate to buy it and not need it!! Thanks i appreciate the help
