Angry Another flat!!!

So I'm I just dumb lucky or does ford put in crappy valve stems? This is my 3rd flat cause by a bad valve stem. Maybe I should just have them replace the last one that way I don't have to worry about it.......

I remember reading something about bad valve stems from China that were used by Ford but I can not remember the specifics. Replacing the stems is probably easier than searching the internet for the article

There's not much to a valve stem that could cause a problem. Are you sure there isn't something stuck in the tire causing a slow leak?

So this morning I go over to Walmart and get the valve stem replaced. When I get home I hear another air leak! Turns out it's the only stem I haven't had replaced yet. So now at least I have all 4 replaced. Its only 2 bucks a piece so thats not bad. Just a pain in the *** though.

I had to replace one of my valve stems a couple of weeks ago. I didn't hit anything with it and it was just basicly almost broken off. I guess I will have all mine replaced now. I have a 2007.

Don't forget about your spare. If the other 4 needed to be replaced it may be beneficial to take care of the spare.

mine leaked on my stockers between the valve stem and the wheel, they must not have made a good seal

Damn that sucks, I have my OEM tires and I'm going to have to replace them before 20,000 miles.

Here's something I found on this. It's not a Ford issue, it looks to be industry wide.

I didn't have time to take care of it yesterday since I had to head up to Ft. Worth. But I'm going to get it done as soon as I get back home!

The picture of the cracked valve stem on the photo link in that article is exactly how my valve stem looked. I will be getting my other three replaced soon...spare too.
