This happened on my fusion and there was a TSB about it. Dont know if there is one for the 150 though. Basically of you have the console shifter there is a mechanism in the shifter handle that tells the key you are in park, the TSB called for installing a new shifter handle ($$$$), I did not do that. What I found in my fusion was that there was a small piece of trim by the handle that interfered with this mechanism indside the handle, I took the shifter apart and ground this trim piece down a small amount and fixed. I dont know how your shifter is so this might not help at all.
It happened to me a few times when I was late for work & in a hurry. It seemd that if I hurried up & put the truck in park too fast that this would happen. Just start up the truck put take it out of park and into a gear and then then return it to park and my problem was fixed. Hope this helps you some maybe !
You could have a shift interlock problem that is causing it not to go into park and that will not let it release the key.

Like bigdog87 stated, try jiggling the steering wheel. Your truck has a steering wheel lock. After it's placed in park, the ignition is turned off, and the steering wheel is turned far enough to the left or right, your steering wheel will lock and the key will be unremovable (it's a rudimentary anti-theft system left over from the 1970s). Turn the steering wheel slightly whichever direction it will turn to release the tension on this mechanism. Once you do this, the key SHOULD come out. If it doesn't, you have another problem. Good luck.
