Trailer Hitch

I want to add a trailer hitch, you think the 70$ are any good?. No intention to actually use it, besides to be able to use my hitch mount bike rack.

You will regret it down the road, you may not need a bigger one now but down the road you might. Id say go with better one if it was me. What class hitch is it?

I paid 125 at the dealer for mine. It is a hidden hitch brand. I want to get the factory one though cause I hate being able to see it below the bumper.

If all you're going to use it for is a bike rack, then it should be fine.

That said, there may come a day where you have to pull something, so you might wanna consider investing in something a little more substantial.

Instead of buying a sub-standard frame hitch for $70, just buy a Box Hitch for $35.
It will more than handle a bike rack.
Then, if you ever need to do serious towing you are only out $35.

And if you never tow, you met your need and are way ahead, costwise.

U-Haul has one with more holes if that product doesn't line up with the 04-08 Ford.

Is this a weld on hitch?

One more question, So the OEM hitch is below the bumper thus visible??

if you were closer to me, i would just about trade you my OEM hitch for your reinforcement piece. i need a full class IV hitch, but i have to buy a $300 reinforcement piece so i can reinstall my bumper. they come on the trucks that dont have the OEM hitch.
