I went the Brandmotion route. Plugs directly into your factory stereo and utilizes the controls on the oem stereo to control the Ipod. Check out the link. I believe they work with most 05' and up stereos. Little pricey but you might be able to find one on e-bay. Direct plug and play.

I ran mine to the center counsel. Took the trim off, dremmeled a small hole for the wire and presto, my Ipod sits in my center counsel all concealed, no wires or nothing.

jasond, I had a peripheral ipod interface on my stock radio. It allows you to use the radio controls just like the brandmotion. If your interested, I still have it for sale in the classifieds.

I went with the Brandmotion in my 06 Lariat with my OEM HU. Simple install and the pocket hides your iPod in the glove box. Radio and steering wheel controls run and charge the iPod. A sweet package.

Brandmotion here too. Love it. Have a look at this thread for more options.

I had this same dilemma and decided to just get an aftermarket head unit. I personally think all the controls of the brandmotions and alike are terrible and slow.
