x2. I want to do this, I'm just worried its not going to hold up. My undercarriage sees so much abuse during hunting season...I dont know how long a paint job would last/look good.

Looks great! The good part is? If it wears after a while, go spend another $20 on a few cans and do it again.

Whats to worry about though, it's cheap, and if for some reason it doesnt hold up, you are out what???? Less then $20.

Chances are if you use the right spray, clean the area properly before hand, and then let it cure, it will be just fine. It will offer another layer of protection from the elements for your undercarriage.

I have done this to all my Vehicles, but not the F150 yet. I will be doing it here shortly (when I swap the brakes)....

If you end up driving on roads where salt it regularly used everything will get eaten up fast.

I painted my exhaust 2 years ago with BBQ grill paint. First used a scotch bright pad on the whole thing, then wiped it all down, taped and masked everything off that I didn't want painted, then finally sprayed it all up. It looked great until this winter when I had the truck out and ended up having to drive home after a ice storm, and all the salt that the countys put on the roads just made everything look like sh__... Of course this is literally the first time that my 04 has ever been out in bad weather, much less salt, normally it just sits in the garage waiting for nice sunny, dry days. Now I got a project for this spring, again. I think I may also get a couple cans of paint and do the under carriage.
