I put 2 coats adhesion promoter 4 coats of basecoat (silver) and 3 coats of high gloss clear, all were in spray cans..

looks awesome for a rattle can job. did you buy all the cans from that website and would you trust it up against a pressure washer or even a touchless car wash?

It looks as if the paint adhered to the platic very well, I think it would hold up pretty well to pressure washing. That being said, I will still be careful and not try and hit them with full force water pressure

any surface preparation like sanding? If not, close ups of texture of paint please.

Im really surprised how well they turned out for being painted from a can, I can say it looks OEM.... I did sand the plastic down to a smooth finish, starting with 220 grit and ending with 1000 grit.

I feel the sanding is key to getting great results along with the adhesion promoter.

Did you do the work on the truck, or did you take the mirrors off and apart?

Looks great. I am doing my FX4 fenders this weekend.
