DIY painted mirror caps. Thanks FX4LIFE
I used the same spray to do my front bumper cover and upper cover. Same process - 2 coats of adhesion promoter, 3 coats of color, 2 coats of clear. Let it sit for a few days then wet sand and use a fine polishing compound and it will shine like glass. The paint has held up well since I did it in the fall. You can get a good finish if you take your time. The only issue I had was a bug committed suicide in the clearcoat under my right headlight. :-( I'd reccommend using this paint from automotivetouchup.com also.

Thanks.
I did mine last weekend, but used Duplicolor. Came out good, but the Duplicolor has a tighter/smaller metallic finish. So it is less shiny, even with the clear (if that makes sense). But the color matches very good!
I pulled the mirrors off the truck. It took about a minute to get them off, just pry the glass carefully off the motor mount with a screwdriver, then remove the 4 torx screws and you are ready to go. Mask, sand and paint!
I think I might get the better match from automotive touch up and re-do them when I get a chance.
