Anybody familiar with these? A member is selling some in the classifieds and was just wanting to get some thoughts on them. Tell me the good and bad, thanks!

I know this sounds like a really dumb question, but aside from the adjustment ability, how would this differ than the standard coilover strut we currently have?

I would think progressive springs is the only way to go. On the Roush, I love it. Smooth on the freeway, but get into the turns or down a bumpy road and the shocks stiffen up quite nicely.

I am really clueless when it comes to suspension products. That is why I have posed the question. Hopefully someone will chime in with their perspective.

I know what you mean. Those CO's look like they're made for a Mustang. Our trucks are super heavy up front. We need heavy-duty springs, and those things look like they would ride like an ironing board compared to a larger, beefier, and more flexible spring combination.

I have a set of their control arms, and i can say that their quality is top notch. Customer Service is outstanding as well. I would expect that the CO's would be the same, whats the reason for selling?

They look pretty 'used' to me is the only reason i ask..

they look like they just need to be cleaned up, not to to worn.
I have heard they are really good shocks and plus the adjustability up front is a nice thing!

How easy is it to alter the ride height with these? He said they can be set for 0-3 inches of lift.

in my fabtech coils just lift it up so the suspension is all the way dropped down and then just crank away! but the suspension has to be dropped all the way down, and you might want to stick a little bit longer pole or whatever on your spanner wrench to get more leverage

Would it be worth it to me to replace my autospring spacer for these? Is that a good price for a used set, or should I offer less?

i'd offer less haha just go cheaper and if he says no then he says no and risk's the sale. and as far as replacing it, i don't know, that is debatable. The ride quality might be better than stock and you can adjust the height of the truck so that is always nice.
