i just got back from the detail shop they sold me a can of nightshade. i showed the detail guy who has a sweet f150 he said they were the closest thing to fx2 that hes seen.

the color is pretty close to me it seems a little darker. im going to clear them later and wet sand them with some p2000 wet/dry

im thinking about doing the top half of my mirrors but thats a week or two away.

theres no overspray i made sure of that.

just curious, why did you do it in a parking lot and not in your driveway?

go for it stang i lucked out and napa had my color in stock but im sure u could order any color. just be sure to sand them good and do really light coats

i agree with bjp you dont want over spray all over the side of your truck. but they def look real nice

This looks great! I think right now the thing I hate the most about my truck is the black handles and buckets on the red truck. What makes it worse is how good the chrome handles look on my neighbor's black Silverado.

That's what I was thinking. When you pull the handle out, can you see the black on the part of the handle that's normally inside the bucket?
