I checked at Walmart later just to see. They did not have Interstate. Some house brand I had never heard of but may be made by Interstate.

Replaced mine after 2 years. Then replaced it again after 2 years. Trying a Optima this time around. My truck sits alot as I have a company rig to drive, sitting must be harder on them than using them all the time.

^ get a battery tender and they will last you MUCH longer.... they need to be kept near peak voltage to last long....

a solar one you plug in the cig lighter would be a good alternative also

The batteries that Walmart sells are made by Johnson Controls, who also manufactures the Diehard batteries for Sears and the Optima line of batteries.

So would a walmart brand be a better choice for price considering their made by the same that makes optima?
And looking for optima they are not cheap. red top size 59 group 720CCA is $162 the cheapest i found online

No, not necessarily as they are made to Walmart's specs. I would not buy one myself.

Well to let everyone know i went to costco and picked up a optima red top for $129 with a ten dollar core exchange so it came to $119 but i must say it looks small in there compared to the stock motorcraft but it has 720 CCA but now my edge wont program and it says program error F1 with a P1000 DTC?

Which brand of battery you buy doesnt matter as much as how long the battery has been sitting on the shelf after it was filled. If a lead acid battery is not used sulfates will build up on the lead plates which drastically shorten the life of the battery. When the battery is filled a sticker is placed on the battery showing the fill date, if the battery has been filled for over 6 months dont buy it.
