is that the only one made? i can not belive the aftermarket is so street oriented for such a off road accessory... if you NEED the bull bar, you NEED the tow hooks...

any that are in production?

what purpose do you need a bull bar for offroad?
not flaming or anything, just genuinely curious

cause there is no way in hell I'd use a bullbar for anything offroad. the don't offer the front end any sort of usefull protection
I have the Hunter Bull Bar. Love it. is sturdy enough to hold my 275-280 lb butt without flexing, and it repels those idiot soccer moms in the parking lots...which is why I bought it. to look good, and keep morons from hitting the bumper in parking stalls

Ha. He fab'd it himself. Do a search for his posts and you'll see him pulling a tree.

Anyways, his is homemade, but Westin and Aries also sell bullbars. Look on ebay and take your pick. I've heard they are all built in the same shop, just different names stamped in the skidplate. I personally like the ones that are blank, but Westin and Aries have their name stamped in the aluminum skid......for a few more bucks.

if you are using your truck offroad and you go to climb an embankment, the bull bar is essential to not ripping your front bumper off or causing other damage... and yet when you get half way up that hill, and get stuck, you will need the recovery points.... one without the other doesn't make much sense to me off road...

they sure do look good though

thanks, I kinda miss my tow hooks, but truth be told, my truck is a Street Queen. I occasionally get into the mud, but nothing that will get me stuck badly...maybe a light yank from another vehicle to get some momentum, nothing more

Im in the woods as much as i can get, and i need the bull bar for protection, and i need my tow hooks, cause we do alot of wheeling in the woods. Why buy a 4x4 to drive on the streets only, specially if you dont get snow.. just my opinion

made the mistake of buying a 4x2 once...never again

you may never use the 4x4 the entire time you own a vehicle, but that 1 time you do, it pays for itself.
