This is number 3 in two and a half years....getting old real quick!!

 

Man, that sucks. I had 3 different tires, get nails in them in a 6 month span. Luckily they could be patched!

 

I think your truck is trying to tell you those tires suck.

 

Plug it and stick it on the rear till you can afford another tire or put the spare on?

 

Mine told me that, 3 days before I bought the truck with the tires on them.

I don't think they will be able to plug it because of it being on the side wall....last one it was at to much of an angle and had to be replaced. I am already running the spare on the other side....and this one that has the screw in it is the new one they put on last time.....(still can see the marking lines on it!)
(I had them mount the spare so I could run two "new" tires up front last time)....so much for that now.



I noticed the tire looked low so I went out and checked it, only had 15 psi in it, lifted my head up and saw that sucker!....had plans to go out with the gf tonight...well I guess not anymore.


Just pisses me off....I have better things to be doing them this.

I had a drywall screw pulled out of mine yesterday. Totally sucks.

 

I think it is.....I know this tires suck but they still have half tread in the rear and about 3/4 up front. I really hate to have to dump them till I can get more miles out of them. Although if I keep getting a new tire every 6 months I might not ever where them out!
I hope it's bad luck!....I'll take bad luck any day then pissing of my ex!

That might be able to be patched since it is still in the tread, it might be worth a try. It would be better to try it rather than forking out for another new tire.

 

Chances are they wont since it is in the apex of the tire (unless you know someone). Like mentioned earlier about plugging it, go to the parts store, buy a kit and do it yourself. Worth a try.

 

I have got a stock set of 18 inch tires in the garage left over from my Nitto swap. If you feel like driving to Kentucky to get their yours. They still have 1/2 tread left.

Been meaning to look into that......been pretty cold her lately and its got a good batt. but no cranking at all, just clicks.

plus you have never rode shot gun with her doing 70 down the freeway

I just looked at my papers and I see that I bought the hazard coverage...so I might be in luck!
