Does anybody have, or know if they make this style radio bezel in black? I thought I have seen them before but now all my searches come up with only the woodgrain? I may be trying the EATC upgrade on my truck but I have the XLT column shift and need this style bezel in black. If you have one or a picture of one please let me know. Also part# would be awesome, thanks

yep only lariats with column shift get woodgrain as far as i know.

i dont mean to hi jack but can u swap a manual ac control with a digital one with no problems?

 

i worded it wrong, lariat's with column shift get wood grain, fx4's with column shift get the carbon fiber style, xl, xlt', stx's get a black one. but either way you can't take a xlt black bezel and swap them without modifications. the climate control on the eatc is different than the manual setup

 

its a possible swap but its QUITE involved, i personally don't like the eatc, i'd rather turn a **** and be down, especially while driving.

 

I looked into this a few years ago. It will end up being a few hundred dollars in parts, requires wiring and reprogramming the PCM. So yes it can be done, but not worth it IMO.
