Installed my 8000k HIDS

For 130 shipped for both heads and fogs they are awesome...True plug and play digital ballast.. 55w for the heads and 35w for the fogs. These are the same ones that Freddytran has and I think we can both highly recommend them and their lifetime warranty.

Im loving how bright white they are with the tiny bit of blue mixed in.

I have the 2004 F-150 with the square foglights.

1. Should I go with 35 or 55 for the fogs?
2. The whole HID system has a lifetime warrenty? If the bulbs go out we can just send them in for a new one?

The fogs where..I had to tap into the heads but that took like 10 minutes...And ya this camera made them look a little like 5k but they have a much bluer tint in person.

Sorry, couple more quick questions...

Does these ballast have the FM radio problem? And do I need to buy a harness?

no it doesn't have a radio problem because they are fully digital ballasts and you should probably always use a relay harness..I ordered one to put on my headlights.

Honestly I zip tied mine to random places where they fit good near the headlights or fogs.. Just use a few zip ties for each and they will be secure.

I tried to find a place to use the mounting brackets and such, but just no luck, so I "rigged" it and just taped it, looks like ****. I may invest in some zip ties haha. Preciate it, I love your truck btw.

Appreciate it man...Ya i would def do the zip ties rather than tape..It will hold much better and look better also...You can hide it easier.

The best spot to mount the foglight ballasts is right behind the tow hooks. There's a little slot where they fit perfectly.
