Catch-All Floormat Damage

Back in April, I went against the grain of getting Weathertechs and went for carpeted Catch-All floormats front and rear. Got the whole set to cover all parts of the floor. So far, they have been awesome. I love having the carpeted mats, as they leave a look of class to the interior but also clean up easy. And they fit the floor perfect.

The only problem I have had is that the rubber liner on the under side of the mats in the front floorboards are starting to crack, and therefor leak. I have emailed the seller, SVC Customs, to see what we can work out. The mats have been in the truck less than 9 months, and the set ran almost $200. I sent them these pictures for reference. We will see what happens!

That they do. The fronts were almost $90 by themselves.

I am going to give them a chance to make it right on thier own first. I had a good expirience with them on the original purchase, so I am hoping that the good customer service will roll over to present day.

You overpaid, I have the same set, just in black. I only paid 135 w/shipping for all 3 pieces back in March.

Looks that way. At least I know where I will be buying from if a warranty doesnt cover the set I have now! How do you like yours? When I bought mine I couldn't find many people who had the Catch All mats.

Why on earth would you consider purchasing another set of these if they failed you in 9 months?

I looked at many of the mats like this when winter rolled around. I went with the WeatherTechs due to ease of maintenance. They're plastic and cover everything. When Spring rolls around the Weathertechs go back on the shelf and the large Ford floor mats go back in.

Just a thought.

I bought the Catch Alls for the wife's Vue. Front, middle, and rear. The middle and rear are holding up great, since there is no traffic there. However the fronts, not doing as well. Stained and wearing quickly. Bought them 12/07.

x2

my rubber ones don't cover that stretch from the door sill that is about 3" wide, but otherwise they give plenty of covereage.

went 2 yrs in Washington without any problem in the constant rain/mud

those weathertechs and other brands are nice, but to spend $100+ for floor mats?

to OP: hope they get back to you with new mats. That is pure B.S. about those mats not lasting even 1 yr. If you're dead set on that setup, I'd recommend you get some rubber ones next time around.

That really sucks.. Especially considering the cash laid down. THey look pretty damn rough for 9 months of use.

I went with the Weathertechs just based off how it was designed to cover the wells with the large lip and the drain.

The Weathertechs have saved my trucks carpet, no doubt about it. I live in the the very tip of the Northwest and get more rain then I can stand. I also take the truck out to a barn and do horse chores, so they are vital in catching everything. If you switch I would highly recommend them, not because they are the "cool" thing to get, but because they work great.

Wet, salty roads do not play nice with black carpet in the winter!

I too have the thick rubber mats from Ford, but they just don't cover enough of the carpet. The WeatherTechs DO, sooo....in the winter I put the WeatherTechs back in and place the Ford mats on a shelf.

The WT's keep the carpet clean and free of white salty foot prints, especially in the back. The thick rubber Ford floor mats are just plain pitiful in the back of a Supercrew.

I agree.. I've had enough water from snow/ice melting off my boots to accumulate into a small pond. Got home and dumped it and it was all good. No water anywhere it wasn't suppose to be and the mats washed off with a hose and were clean again in a matter of minutes.

I also switch the mats over in the summer to my Roush mats.
