May..just maybe - Truck Leveling

I'm finally going to get my truck leveled.
My dad won't do it because after being a mechanic for 20 yrs he says he hates working on vehicles anymore...so it still hasnt been done.
but my brothers girlfriend has an uncle who owns a garage and if I drive her and my brother up to Maine then while we are up there her uncle will level and align the truck for me
It won't cost me a penny 'cause my brother is payin for the trip...so yippee.
and if it doesnt get done then i'll just drop em both on the highway on my way home

so hopefully by the middle of next week my truck will finally be leveled

I liked my leveling until after my 6" lift. Then I thought to myself that I should have never gotten the leveling kit in the first place. Because after the leveling kit, I went up in tire size. I should have just saved the couple of hundred dollars and used it for my lift. Now I have a leveling kit & tires mounted on OEM wheels sitting in my backyard.

Not much demand in the after-market for used OEM wheels & tires. I would almost have to give them away.

well I have no desire to go bigger or lift my truck...i don't like the look of lifted trucks and huge tires.

leveling and some 33's or 35's works fine for me

your confusing. 35's aren't HUGE, but their big. and a 6" lifted truck runs 35's and your leveling and considering 35's so your only argument is a lift, but your raising your front 2 1/2" which is technically lifting it. not trying to be an ***, but if you don't like big trucks why would you put 35's on.

thats your opinion.

if you like lifted trucks then good for you.

i personally do not.
and what I meant by not going bigger is that i have no desire to put 8" life with 37's or bigger or whatever.
yes i know with a 6" lift you run 35's but i dont like lifted trucks so like i said i'll stick with a leveling kit and probably only 33" tires.
plus i'm not looking into pouring a ton of money into my truck..it's a truck and not a great investment..i'd rather save up my money to buy a house

ok, your post was just confusing and seemed to contradict itself a little bit, but lifted trucks aren't for everybody

If I lived on the mainland, I'd take them off your hands. I'm always on the lookout for a set of OEM 20"s or the HD 22" rims
