My stainless upper and lower front grilles have seen a couple of winters now as well, and they're also in mint condition.

My .2 cents.
I have the painted black version. All I need to do is sand it down and hit it with a few coat of some Krylon

my Westin steps did the same on the last truck.

It's not a matter of quality. It's a matter of use and the environment. In the North, you can expect stuff to rust. Just a fact of life. I know that buying the painted stuff will likely end up rusting...but IMO it looks better than chrome, and the rust is easy to stop/fix

about what?

You may or may not have an issue. You haven't called the manufacturer...but you felt free to slam them online. And after seeing your PHP posts...talk about impatient

yeah i know i paid for it thru my citi card, and yea i was impatient, I am sorry. Already apologized to PHP.

Actually I do have an issue, its not only rusting in one place, the welds on the light guards are cracking and rust stains are appearing from the cracks, so yeah i think this just totally sucks. You would be alittle upset too if this was your one and only expensive christmas present.

Good man The tunes will be worth the wait.

As far as the bar thingy, I probably would be a little upset too if I was in your shoes. I mean c'mon, you wouldn't think it would start rusting that quick! Sounds like a POS. I wouldn't want it on my truck.

Good Luck

Just my .02, but that looks like an 'escape hole' for the smoke from welding. If the other "stains" you're seeing look just like that, I'd be willing to be that's what it is, which would then explain the rust.

T304 SS does not rust, but weld will.

If you decide to keep that guard... remount it plz.

Boo freaking hoo. Handle your problems like a grown up instead of comming on a forum and bashing a company before you have even given them a chance to fix the issue.

I hope they make it 110% right just so you feal like an idiot.

Useless!!!

Now i can rant.

One of there numbers is constantly busy and the other number this individual picks up and tells me I have to contact a claims department by e-mail and thats just really messed up, I like handling stuff over the phone. It gets better, he gives me the e-mail I got from the seller on ebay, and that is the e-mail i had e-mailed last week and they e-mailed me back with a document about their policys but no human response, and then I asked them by e-mail earlier yesterday what should i do and this was their response:

Sorry but we have a policy that we have to go by.

and to make matters worst, the guy from hunter truck wholesale told me that they won't cover rust!

I mean less than 3 weeks and you won't still cover rust.

So what are my options now, i'm very disappointed and don't know what to do but call my credit card company and explain it to them too i guess
