Bought it to tow my Mustang. Its a 2006 Screw FX4 with only 5600 miles on it. 5.4 liter 3.73 lsd tow package, power seats/locks/windows and moonroof, heated mirrors and Ford remote starter

Planned mods or upgrades are:

Prodigy Brake controller
Gryphon Tuner
Weathertechs
Front windows tinted to match

Things I am on the fence with

Soft bed cover
Line-x or drop in liner
Low Profile bed toolbox

Things I am not doing (sorry)

exhaust --- Call me old but I like it quiet
Intake --- See above lol

Figured I would say Hello

Nice truck, still my favorite color combo, i would definitely get the line x over a drop in liner, my dad has a had a spray in for over 10 years in his 79 and it still looks brand new (i forget the company name but, line x eventually bought them out) we have hauled my sled with it (carbide runners and studs) he has a camper that he uses at least 6 times a year.... it's just great stuff, mine has a drop in but it came with truck

Welcome!! Where do you find a 06 with only 5600 miles? How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Nice truck!

I guess you like it quiet like me...

That doesn't mean you can't get an aftermarket exhaust... get like a Flowmaster 70 series or something equivalent... or if you really want to do something unique, convert the stock muffler to duals out the rear. Would be a cheap alternative to make it look cool!

Heck, I'm getting smoke stacks put on my truck and I demand that they be quiet as stock or quieter!

If I want noise, I step into my road queen...

I found it at a Ford dealership. Pre-certified so it comes with a 6yr 100k powertrain warrenty (really a 4.5 year 100k due to the in sevice date) The drivetrain warrenty expires 8/2012 or 100k whichever comes first.

I got it for 22.7k but they probably got me on my trade in a bit as well. I was shopping leftover 08's and the pickings were slim. I had to argue down that far the asking price was 25+. Either way I'm happy with it the deal. Funny thing I had myself pre approved through my credit union and told them the rate 4.75 fixed and they didn't even bother to try and sell me a loan. Said they couldn't touch that rate, things are pretty bad I guess.

Thanks All I'll post updates as I get around to doing stuff

Welcome to the site! Definitely go with Line-x if your on the fence about it. Its a great liner, I had it put in my truck only a few days after purchasing it and I love it.

Any pictures of the stang?

Typical 347 afr 185,Eddy RPM II intake, custum FTI cam motor. Nothing too radical.
