Roush Grille Ideas

Well i think i'm going to get the Roush grille sometime in the near future. I want to do one of two things, and am curious what you guys think would look best.

1) Since i have a chrome surround, i was thinking of getting the Roush grille and having it color matched/painted Arizona Beige like my current honeycomb grille is.

2) OR i would leave the grille chrome, and have the surround color matched/painted Arizona Beige.

I'm leaning towards option 1 since i've never seen another truck with a Beige painted Roush grille and it will be more unique. But i wanna make sure it would look good first.

Either way i would be keeping the Ford Oval ontop. So which do you think would look best? Feel free to photoshop since i cant.

well you know if you have the surround PTM, it will look good.
but painting the grill could go either way. i would have jbmx or dirtyd do a photoshop for you, because thatd be different than what everyone else does.

i think painting is tan to match would look cool, it would offset all the chrome (surround, bumper, headlights) i just put some all clear headlights in today and i'm thinking on paint my lariat grille insert gray to match, give it a good paint to chrome ratio.

Thanks.

Yeah i think option 1 will be best.

About the lower grille: i dont know how good a PTM lower grille would look. Plus in my state i have to have the license plate on the front which also would take away from it.

Tip:

If you go with option 2 make sure you do not paint the vertical support bars on the back side of the grille.

Some of the painted grilles just look funky when you can see vertical bars on a horizontal grille.

Option 1 I would say. And put the Ford emblem on it, it would look great.

Option 1 is the best idea for uniqueness, but if it were my truck I would paint the surrond Arizona beige and paint the grill black.
