just for an update, i bought the tranny and it should be here soon. the first day i noticed the problem i bought some lucas oil stop slip and added abou a half of it and nothing. today however i get in the truck and everything seems to be back to normal... is it possible that the tranny fluid just needed a little reformulating?

im going to keep the new tranny, but as lon as it stays running good ill keep this one in...

 

sounds like a good plan. hope your current tranny holds up for you a while longer though
