Coil isnt an issue, I dont have alot of it but if I throw all the coin I can at it you would think it would solve itself. I want 550RWHP which should net 12s as I believe people hit 12s with 475RWHP such as the questionable JDM saleen.

BTW how did you like the exhaust cutouts on ur old truck?

Hey Irons, I'm curious what Troyer had to say about the stroker and why he doesn't reccommend it. I thought about doing a stroker 5.4 myself and would like to know what he said.

well the stock 5.4 has ALOT of stroke as it is with 4.1" and upping it to 4.4" is not recomended. He said the bearings and pistons would be under alot of stress and alot of little things that would end up being big problems. He said if anything bore the motor I think he said .20 over and just put a forged bottom end and up the boost. You could still try the 5.8-6.0 stroker though, its ~4.3 about but he may still not be to excited about it. I still would love to do it, but when you talk to mike, its hard to not agree.

However, stroker kit from paschal is $3700 for billet 6.4 which needs aluminium block or $2500 for fordged 6.0 stroker kit. You can get a Fordged normal 5.4 crank for like $400 LOL. While its alot cheaper to just build boost on a fordged bottom end, nothing like having the only 6.4 F150.

Well that makes sense, and yeah I've talked to Mike before, he dyno tuned my truck two years ago so I know what he is like. He talked me out of the 80 MM throttle body from BBK.

Why not do a big bore alum block (3.74") with a stock stroke, you will still get 6.0L out of it.

I may bore the motor, but I dont think I will stroke it after talking to the tuners. I havent looked into any about how much bore I want to go if any over stock. Thats next to find out on my list.

Well a Lightning guy is going to give me a 3" pulley which should be about 10.5 PSI so ill have to get a "safe" tune and all that goes with it. For the time being till motors built

Ok got a 3" pulley from a Lightning guy and I have to test fit it to see if I need a bigger idler pulley to compinsate in belt slack.
