search for "FX4 Cluster"

eBay also has an entire section for them...it's under the Gauge section

the original trucks mileage...and you cannot change that, so get one with close or a little higher mileage than you have

dealership will have to reprogram mileage and turn on additional functions depending on which cluster you buy.

that is technically odometer fraud. I personally would pay the dealer to do the reprogram. that way you have a paper trail showing when and who did it...otherwise it's all just based on your word if someone were to question it.

Have you by chance tried to get a dealer to reprogram mileage Tylus? They WILL NOT reprogram mileage, any of them, I went thru 25 dealers within 250 miles of my house and they will not do it....you do need to get it reprogrammed if you dont have a tach, or certain other little options, but they will not reprogram mileage whatsoever unless you buy the cluster new from ford.

When I installed the XLT cluster in my truck, I had the dealer swap it out at the exact mileage that was on the new cluster and document it and certify that it was not odometer fraud, and do the reflash to get the tach to work. 43 bucks for install and reflash

I already have the FX4 Cluster with info center...so no, never have done it. But alot of other people have been doing this swap. They buy 'em off eBay for $100-150 (ish) and take to a dealer to get programmed. This was a very popular mod in 2004-2005...and then it died off for 1 1/2 yrs...now it seems to be picking back up again.

You are the first person I've heard of bjp207 who says a dealership won't take their money.

to OP: talk to your service desk at the Dealership. Make sure they know you would be bringing in the truck with a non-original Cluster installed specifically to get the mileage set. You might have to make 2 trips.

1. to show them the true mileage with OEM cluster
2. to have them program the correct mileage with new cluster and turn on additional functions as needed

Nowhere in that thread do they talk about mileage change dude....the dealer took my money to reflash, or load as-built data if you will

They cannot program mileage, that is with the cluster and the only way that it can be programmed is if it was purchased new from the dealer.

You can talk all you want about it, but look to your last post...You have not done it, I have, and many others have, and None of us have been able to get the mileage changed.

Once again to the O.P, just get one with your mileage or slightly higher, and have the dealer do the swap when the mileage matches.
