A few members said my truck would look better with the running boards taken off, so I did a quick MS Paint before & after.....what do you think, leave them or ditch em'?

First off I have always been a fan of your truck when it was lifted it looked great, and it looks great now. I have a six inch lift on mine with no running boards and yours is way lower, so why have them. If you dont use them, and you are not lifted why have them. It looks so much cleaner without them on, so I would take them off the other thing is there is nothing else that is chrome on your truck, if they were black maybe, but I would just leave them off. We should get a f150 meeting in las vegas.

Definitely, I've been wanting to do that, the Cali guys have all the fun

I was thinking of getting the Lincoln LT handles, they have a chrome handle pull....so that would add a little accent of chrome.

I think they compliment your wheels, plus they protect your rockers from stone chips.

Lose them or paint them black.

A buddy of mine installed power steps. They are actuated from the dome light switches. Just open the door and the steps swing down. Close the door and they retract up and out of sight. May be a bit pricy but what is the cost to look cool.

I agree with NHRA Fan (of which I am also a fan). I am saving for some power steps in the future. The power steps are definitely the way to go.

While the chrome does go good with your wheels, it looks so much cleaner without them. If you MUST have something I would def go with the power steps although I think it would be unnecessary for the height of your truck.

BTW I'm not a fan of lowered trucks at all but your is really nice and done properly.

I say leave them, because it makes it look lower and the passenger side looks good with the exhaust tip, but I would powder coat them black, and the exhaust tips too probably.
