I'm 50/50 on this. Paint them or add some more chrome accents if you're leaving them on. Or, take them off and have your door handles/surrounds painted black.

Keep them, looks good. Off looks like it needs to go either lower or higher.
Chrome ties in nice with the small amount of chrome on the wheels and badges.

I say paint them black or lose them altogether.

I'd keep em on and chrome...
They look good on your truck!

If you paint them black you might as well take them off...
They would just get lost IMO.

Well I'm not sure if this helped at all, its almost 50/50 from everyone.....and I can't decide that's why I asked everyone here.

Here is my plans, see if this helps, I would like to get the Lincoln LT handles and switch my grill out for the stainless steel mesh(upper & lower) grill, and paint the mirrors eventually.......or

I could blackout the handles and mirrors, leave the grill and get the lower one to match.....and I guess powder coat the running boards to match. But then the only chrome would be the thin strips on the wheels

Also like a few said, it helps make the truck look a little lower, if I take it off, it will look higher. I do plan on getting the rear lowering shackles to bring the back down, level it out.
Not sure if I made it easier now or just more confusing

I don't quite understand the dilemma. Take 'em off. If you don't like it, put them back on. You won't know what you like till you do it.

I personally don't see a need on a lowered truck but that's just me.
In anycase, congrats on one nice rig!
