I use mobil 1 syn 5-20

Royal purple is nice, but i don't see the point in an everyday driver. I might eventually change the diff/trans to royal purple put i'm not putting that much money into an oil change

The Motorcraft 5W20 is a synthetic blend and is available at Wal-Mart at a good price along with the Motorcraft oil filter. Why waste money or the other stuff?

Any 5w20 synthetic will do. If you want to save some money use MC, it's great oil. As for filter, MC FL-820s, Purolator Pure one or Wix are great filters. I don't use the Fram brand, Fram oil filter quality is questionnable, but their filter won't damage your engine if you choose to use one.

As I mentionned in my previous post, you need MC FL-820s. I think the MC FL- 400s is for the V6 engine.
