well pimprohr had trouble with his fabtech coilovers, but hash has em and i dont think he has had any problems. I have not ever heard too much of procomp's coilovers, I think most people prefer the fabtechs.

I have the fabtech's, they are great, but have nothing but stocks to compare them to. The first set of coils were defective as they bent hitting the actual shock, but fabtech replaced them for free, but I had to pay for the install. Overall I like the fact that they are rebuildable and the adjustability. The only drawback is you have to get a front end alignment after you adjust them. Josiah has them as well, and I am pretty sure he is happy with them. I ran Fox res. in the back that is a major improvement over stock. Hope this helps.

If you are going to spend the money, why not look into the good stuff like Kings or Sway-away?

whats wrong with fabtechs? someone might want a coilover for improve ride, or adjust height, but unless your doing some hardcore stuff or just really like spending money its not necessary to get kings or sway-aways. Granted they are both awesome coilovers there is nothing bad about getting the DL's.

Right, but you could say the same thing about the Fabtech DLs vs the regular Fabtech performance shocks or the monotube bilsteins. My truck is offroad/abused more then most of the trucks on here with the DLs, but do i need the DLs? No.

I was just putting forth a few other options.

You would be looking custom as far as i know. Neither those two or camburg make anything for a 6" lift, all of them make stock replacements that can serve as leveling kit. Tack the word "custom" on to anything and its gonna cost your immensly. My kings have to come custom, they dont even keep a small inventory of this stuff. You call and spec out what you want, they put you in build order, you pay and wait.... I know all too well about the price and the wait... 1550 for just the front two, so fabtech and procomp area world more affordable for 6" lifts and more readily available

Right, but how many trucks do you see out there with a 6" lift and sway-aways? (Go big or go home? ) You have custom kings, so i know you know what im talking about.

I see trucks with DLs or PCs everyday.

I gotcha I think everyone should put forth the effort to be unique. but like you said not everyone needs these things. I thought camburgs would be cool since they are red, but i never looked into the possibility. I thought i read pimprohr say he wanted icon's since his DL's had to be rebuilt. I wonder if this will have to be custom or if they offer an off the shelf product, im surprise he has not been in yet.

Im definately going to thrash mine offroad after i get the kings on there wont be anymore shows till feb. so why not?!
