2.5" Autospring and 35" BFG KM2s Installed

Well, over the weekend I got the leveling kit installed. Had it aligned Sunday after church. I was content with running stock tires for a while until they wore out. I actualy liked the way it looked.

I walked into my local Tire Kingdom yesterday and wanted to compare thier prices with onlinetires.com on the 35x12.50R18 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2. For whatever reason, they listed two part numbers for the same tire. One was $370 and one was $290. I told him to get 4 of the latter in the shop as quickly as possible. I got the tires, M+B, free balance and rotation, road hazard and tax out the door for $1400. I have a feeling it was a glitch they will catch, but I dont care. The tires on are the truck and I got them out the door for less than what just the tires should cost. I thought it was a good day.

So far I like them. Very minor rubbing when at full lock. They ride smooth and have minimal road noise, especialy for a mud terrain. I think they fill out the wheel wells just right and still leave some room for flex.

Anyway, one with the pics!

Thanks! Both of my trucks now are sporting BFG M/Ts, and I dont plan on running anything else. I like the look and function of a M/T. Even if you dont need them all the time, they are good to have when you do.

Damn that looks good.

Seems like these tires are becoming more popular than the toyo's.

Thanks guys! One reason I went with these over the Toyos is becase of the white letters. That is just my style. And like I said, I kinda wanted both trucks wearing the same shoes.

Not a glitch. IIRC one has a D load rating, while the other has an E rating.

Regardless, looks good! I'm thinking those might be my next tires, but then I'll probably have to get new wheels with a different backspacing.. hmmm...

How do they handle in rain? This is my main concern with getting MTs is their handling in wet/snowy conditions.

I don't think they're that popular or anywhere near it yet

Mine have been great in rain, from a light drizzle to a heavy down pour at freeway speeds (75 MPH). Though I can't comment on snow

Not sure about the different load ratings. I am pretty sure they both listed as a D range tire. Come to think of it, I can't find anyone online selling anything but a D range KM2. Not exactly the best example, but 4 Wheel Parts is listing them for $382.

You could always go back to stock wheels with 35s...

Thanks man. The pictures of your truck with the leveling kit are what really made the decision for me.

The size that he has 35x12.5R18 only come in one load range and that is D. The 305/65R18 come in an E load range

I just double checked, and the KM2 only comes in a 305/60/18. So a 33" tire. It has the higher load rating however. The 305/65/18 BFG A/T wears a E rated sidewall as well.

Tires look great!

FYI i got mine at 4WP for 1300, and that included the $100 tire warranty.

GTRider245,
What size did you purchase? Have you done any trimming for clearance?

Looks Great!
