Lower Control Arms

Does anyone else get crap tons of people asking you if they are after market?

I polished mine up a but and made them look a bit shinier and i have people every other day asking me where i got them and they look killer.

A Guy yesterday in my welding class asked me about it and i just said no Ford just makes bad *** control arms, unlike dodge huh? (he owns a Ram) I felt like a Badass haha.

Just thought id bring it up!

Peace
-Matt

I beleive they are the beefiest out there. I peeked under an 09 Lariat 4x4 at a local dealer and they are painted black on the 09's, still looked beefy though.

If someone asks you.... just blankly stare at them for a good 1-2 minutes, maybe blinking once. Then walk away slowly. After awhile, just shake your head. Gets the point across !

You know what's funny... for '09 Ford switched from Aluminum to Steel lowers and Dodge switched from Steel to Aluminum lowers...

i like the look of the aluminum just because its so much beefy'er the steel just dose not look as significant.

Cool

X2... I actually make a point of making them shine!! Along with the skid plate!

It's a nice contrast IMO....

The aluminum does not hold up as well as something like steel, at least I would think. The aluminum is relatively soft, I've seen rocks to some damage to mine putting gashes here and there. But YES I have had at least 2 people ask me if they were aftermarket.
