Just got it back from the paint booth today. Some damn kid threw eggs and Comet on my truck. So 500$ later and the entire truck was repainted, plus a few new things...


(I know my foglight is out...)

Was tired of just the skull caps and textured plastic, so it found paint.

DSG and Blackouts didnt go together, so I "needed" the FX2 grille painted

 

Gloss Black badges





The Comet ate my first Hella's, so I got new ones.

Not bad for $500. That's the direction I'm taking my truck. All black.

 

Looks nice. Dark tint, pull the rear blocks, add some black 20s, lose the running boards and get a dual exhaust, that truck will look CLEAN.

 

damn low, halloween musta came early, cuz that truck is scary! lol.. I've never gotten to see pics of your truck aside from your sig.. it looks slick, good job all around..

hope ya dont mind if I make a few suggestions tho.. blackout the 3rd brake light, get some overlays from patriotdecals for your ovals, powdercoat the wheels black (or get some new black ones), paint your exhaust with some black high temp spray, and maybe get some stealth bulbs for ya turning signals! For the grille, emblems redone, and the mirrors was 250ish...

Ya, I do need to get out the tint and get it done. Just cant find a good place to buy from around here.

Ive been trying to find a place to have the wheels done... Ive been wanting that done for months, ever since I saw the one other powdercoated 20" on here.

 

well if your not afraid of spray paint, you could do it yourself for under $30 with some Duplicolor Wheel Paint! lol.. I helped a friend paint his old 4runners wheels with the black and clear and some self-etching primer and it went on really smooth.. that was almost a year ago and still no chips from I've seen.. its some pretty durable stuff considering.. supposed to be debri, chemcal, and abrasion resistant.. Duplicolor makes some good stuff!

but yea.. you look like you'd want something professionally done.. I think most PC shops around here only charge around $100 a wheel.. even if that.. maybe $300 for a set.. and of course, the quality would be much nicer
