HELP Please--Window problems...

I just bought a 2006 super crew 4x4 with 75,000 miles on it. The windows stoped working and I am trying to find out what this will cost to fix. The problem started intermittingly and now they stopped working alltogether (luckly they are in the up position). They originaly stoped working with the drivers door open. Now they don't work at all. ALSO-the power lock swithch on the drivers door is not working and the power mirror switch is not working. And if that was not bad enough when I turn the truck off and open the door the radio stays on. All these problems happoned at the same time and I am sure they are related.

Can anyone shed some light on these problems???

Thanks Eddie

Have you pulled the panel that the switches are in off to make sure everything is still connected well? Those wires are all connected together running through the door, maybe something pulled them loose.

check for loose wires or even blown fuses. A fuse(s) could be blown if none of the window or even the door locks don't work.

As far as the radio staying on, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with a bad relay in the fuse box that's in the engine compartment. Do a search on here about it.

the window is an easy fix. the contacts under the buttons need cleaning.

my truck was doing the same thing. it quit working intermittently. I took to the dealer and they replaced the switch under warranty. out of warranty guys can clean it up using alcohol

the radio sounds like your door open/shut switch isn't working. start then stop the truck. open the passenger side door...don't open the drivers door just yet. Does the radio cut off?

Also noticed last night that when I open the door (drivers) I have no dome light coming on. All the other doors have a dome light come on with the door open. I will run outside to check the radio shuting down when I open the other doors. Thanks for the replys. I have a moble tech showing up this afternoon to try to figure this out. I will post any findings.

Opening up any other door shuts off the radio. It has got to be power supply to the drivers door.

it's your door switch then. either it went bad or the switch is loose.

Problem found/fixed
Pulled back the rubber boot where the wires run from the door to the cab and found 3 broken wires. Re connected them and it works great. Thanks for all the replys.
