New Exhaust

Right now I have the flowmaster 50 series on my truck. I was happy at the time of purchase and initially wanted something pretty quiet. However it is too quiet. I dont want a drone what so ever, and I dont want it as loud as the 40's. Is the roush off road exhaust a good middle man. Right now at WOT it is a higher pitched noise, and the olny deep comes from the CAI. I want it to have a slight rumble, but barely noticable at highway speeds.

You need the Magnaflow SIDO or SISO

Flowmaster won't provide you with what you need. They're either full exhaust noises, or no noises.

What about the super 44? I've heard it's quieter then the 40, but not Magnaflowish.

Magnapack. I really like mine so far. No drone unless you feather the throttle when going up a hill.

I have one in, 2 out and want to basically keep the pipes, just replace the muffler. How much would the magnapack or a magnaflow be?

Anyone have a link. All I can seem to find is really expensive kits. Lol. A link with the exact muffler would be best. Again, I have One In, Two Out

i really hope you weren't serious. do you not remember all the advertisement when it came out for being the loudest street legal muffler from flowmaster ever? mine is noticably louder than my friends with the super 40

I got my SLP stuff from amercanmuscle.com (mustang parts site) but if you just want mufflers try summit racing.

for a complete new system i like the sound of pimprohr's MBRP siso, but i believe he has headers.

Really? I was under the impression that it was just small step up from a 50, but quieter then the 40. Scratch my advise then.

Magnaflow is a great sounding exhaust IMO. Best of luck with whatever exhaust you ending up choosing.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so. I thought he only did the catback. I did do the complete system using the same MBRP si/so like pimprohr's with the Dynotech LT headers and HF cats. I loved the sound but it had to much drone for me. I switched the MBRP out with Corsa's (Touring) si/so and don't have any drone at all. The sound isn't as deep as it was with the MBRP cat back but it does sound better now, after putting a few miles on it, but still, not as deep as the MBRP was.
