Overhead Console Add-Ons

Where can I get add-ons for my overhead console for my Supercab? More console compartments would be more handy, and look much better than the free bars there. Thanks.

Hey Darren, ever think making up a special bracket for them to see if its possible to mount and amp up there?

Can you mount amps upside down? I have no idea if that is even safe, but i always thought it would look cool and save room. Plus it would have plenty of air circulation and you could hide the wires behind the headliner.

Thats what i would like to see. I'd do it. unless its a really bad thing to do to an amp.

Sounds more like an invitation to steal them, plus a constant heater. Its a cool idea if you where building a show truck but, Id just get more consoles.

I also wanted to add more consoles, and bought a couple off ebay a while back, then discovered that you can't fit the exact number of consoles on the rails to completely fill the rails up. It bugs me a little that there is some rail that is exposed - I guess I just don't like the way it looks...wonder if someone has figured out anything to rectify that issue...

An amp up there would be a little heavy for that rack too.

Ford sells all kinds of attachments. Go pick up a accessory catalog from the dealer.

i just wish i had that rack system up there. ive looked in ford catalogs for them and have not been able to find them. anyone know where i can find them? they make dvd players for them and want to put one in. as for the amps, it would be suicide to put an amp up there. the top of the amp is the heat sink and if you mount it upside down, the heat will rise right back into the amp, cooking it

How many do you have up there?? I put up a total of three and there is no empty space. The one that comes stock moves to the back and then the other two go towards the front. I'll see if I can get a pic for it..

Yep, just looked at mine. With three bins up, there is maybe 1/2in at the back that is exposed and you have to look twice to see it..
