id just put a good coat of wax and keep them clean. ALWAYS rinse/wash the salt of as soon as possible. Mine survived the end of last winter with just keeping them clean.

It's going to get damn cold cleaning your wheels that often unless you have a heated garage. I've heard wd40 works too. I'm not sure what I'm going to do the winter. I took them off last winter but I don't feel like taking them off for this winter.

on my last truck, lifted silverado, i bought new rims every spring. the salt up here destroyed them. it wasn't a big deal 16x8's for 400 bucks, those days are so gone.

Wash, clay, and wax. And wax again. Treat the wheels like you do the paint and you will be good to go.

Swap them out with a set of stockers and protect your nice chrome rims. Aftermarket wheel plating/coatings don't hold up all that well against the abuse of winter road chemicals.
