Nice truck btw, looks good!
You know what the light is on...
Where is the toms located because I hope it was not on the stock wheels and tires.

also no 5.4 with the STX. you can only get the 4.6 with the STX.

The 5.4 is now available as an option on the STX.

Where is the toms located because I hope it was not on the stock wheels and tires. The sensors are in ea. wheel. They are held on by a cradle and bands. Guy at the tire store I took it to for mounting said all I need is the bands, the stock wheel bands are not able to be re-used. So, I may have the Ford dealer do it depending on their price, and will call them tomorrow. The existing sensors can be re-used no problems, and as long as they are put on the original wheel postion (e.g. front right, rear left, etc.) there are no problems with the sensor readings. Hope you didn't get rid of your stock wheels yet!

Truck looks real good man. Congrats. I say nay for Banks exhaust and MBRP I really say nay on. Banks doesn't sound as great as others IMO, and MBRP sounds horrible. Magnaflow, or Roush Off-Road!

I just tried to build one on fordvehicles.com and it says 5.4 is not available on the stx.

I saw reference to a special edition stx with a 5.4 on another site but it is not buildable on Ford's website.

I saw that also BlueGreenf150...but I know for a fact that I built a STX on their site a few weeks back and the 5.4 was an option then

EDIT:

got to http://www.fordvehicles.com

click on the build a vehicle and then select the Previous Year Tab (near the top). Then select to build a 2007 F-150

You can get a 2007 F-150 STX with 5.4...for some reason the website is saying the 2008 can't have one

Hmmm. I just tried to build a 2007 STX. You can't get the 5.4.

try again using the link I posted. A 2007 F-150 starting at $18275.

STX Package, SuperCab, 6.5' bed...you can build a 5.4 with that setup

Looks great man.... love the rims.

I went looking for one like yours but came back with an '08 XL. Sticker was $23k, got $11k off the top and got $7k for my trade and rolled TT&L. Rolled it home for $9.5k...
