4.6 is the base motor for the STX...but the STX can be had with a 5.4 3v as well...starting in 2006 I believe

What do you mean tpms? I need to go have them rebalanced and rotated if that is what u mean.

my xlt definitely has the 4.6 so i know thats not one of the differences.

tpms is like the tire pressure monitoring system? i think thats the abbreviation for it. it tells if you if you have low tire pressure. if you dont have it put in your wheel you have the light on your dash. really wish i could turn mine off

tire press. monitoring system, yes. I didn't think about this when I picked up some new wheels this weekend. Looks like I need the new bands. Just curious if your light was on.
