4 Pallets worth of Computer Junk

Well, I had to move roughly 4 pallets of computer junk with my truck. I loaded all the computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, a bunch of wire, etc, and I somehow had it heaping in my bed, and I tied it down with my ratcheting tie downs. People were amazed at how much I could fit back there... it took 3 people to load all the stuff in and to unload all of the stuff.

When I brought it to my destination, they had cartons on pallets, and they only had 2 setup, thinking it wasn't going to be a big load. Well, turns out they needed 4 pallets total. They were like... "This is a 1/2 ton?! Wow!" They were more amazed that it had a V6 and it was a stick shift.

I had a total of about 3,200 lbs in the back. Drove really well at 65 mph. I was also getting 19.2 mpg.

I do need load range 'e' tires though...

Nope, no pics... I was too much in a hurry to get rid of it.

Wasn't really nothing too special. Just imagine a bunch of CRT monitors, old Dell GX110s, and some random wire and a few large printers... along with some other really old computer junk.

It was more of a PITA than anything. I just had to share the facilities workers' reactions.

This should impress you then. I've been helping clean all the junk out of my Mother-in-Law's house. Filling up the bed to the tonnau cover (don't have to tie stuff down) and filling up the back of the S-Cab, I've made a total of FOUR trips to the dump. There's still at least one or two more loads to move. That, my friends, is a LOT of crap!

I'd have loved to see your load of computer crap though. I've seen lots of computer crap in the IT industry but haven't had the opportunity to haul any of it.

I love hauling crap around, it's fun!!

At work we've got F-350s with flatbeds with side rails, and a few weeks ago I was getting some old macs with those nifty handles, and I was throwing them like discus'! Students were like...! I was chucking notebooks, PCI cards, etc... It was hysterical.

Old IT stuff can be a joy to play with.

You know that you really dont haul a damn thing in your truck when you have to make a post or take a picture of your truck with a load in the bed.

About like the guys who take pictures and make post when they have a little bit of mud on their truck.

So you have something in the bed or its dirty. Im not impressed one bit attention *****. It just screams that you want people to think you actually use your truck.
