they are all right. The cost of the 6" kit was often the same or close to the price of the 8". Only one person that i know of around here bought a six inch, and he wished he had bought an 8" afterwards but was still happy with the lift itself.
Im extremely pleased with my rize kit. I think a few have theirs still at 8" and some of us have it up at 10". you cant go wrong with rize in the 6" (considering you could get your hands on one), 8" or 12"

You should regear with 35's too, preferably to 4.56's. I dont guess its required though, its all up to your preference and the finances. Alot of people choose not too, but alot go for the swap and love it.

That is like saying a 8 inch lift is perfect for 37s and a 10 inch lift is perfect for 39's, but your truck FX4life doesn't look half bad with the 37s.
I prefer more lift vs fitting the biggest tire in the wheel well you can fit. I don't like tire rub/bite at all.

But, if you want the look of a 6" with 35's then it stands to reason you would want the look of a 8" with 37's. If you are not going to budge on the tire size, I would say to go with the Fabtech and some 35's. You could always bump it up to 8" at a later time with a leveling kit or some shocks.
You have to think about what you are going to want down the road, not what you think is alright right now. Have a plan for adding height, or just go with the 8" to start out with.

I wasn't going to re-gear with 35's but now I think I need to re-think all this...

i got 3.55's and 35's and its not that bad. i dont tow heavy stuff or live in hilly terrain. but i do love the mileage on the highway, 18+, but if your gonna regear, do it when you put the lift on, cheaper obviously. i dont wany 4.56's, but 4.10's aint worth the trouble IMO, i wish they would make the 4.30's for the front already! perfect all around gears for 35's IMO

He's got you there FX4life...haha. The truck does look good with 37's and 10" of lift, so why wouldn't 35's look okay with 8"?

Maybe on a good day my 37's looks good.... Ill be honest, i hate my truck with 37's...They are not wide enough or tall enough. though at times they look good offroad stuffed up in the fenders. If i had not just dropped so much for kings and camburgs id swap them out. There is a guy locally that is a rep for toyo and is going to let me try on 40's before i go to 38's. Beware though toyos dont wear down quickly... mine have something like 15k on them and still look brand new...it drives me crazy cause i want to go bigger
8" of lift with 35's might look okay if you went with an 18" rim to give the tire a beefier look. There is one guy around here that did 35's with his 8" but in my searches i cannot find his post and pics.
