I just installed the same lights on my truck using this article and they turned out great. thanks for posting this for people use, makes life much simpler

After deciding on cab lights for the last 2 year i finally bit the bullet and bought the recons. Cant wait to install them

what did you use to seal the lights to the cab? I just ordered some for my truck and want to know what i need before they get here. thanks

Do you just put it around the bottom of the lights then?

I used "Outdoor Grade" clear silicone. I grabbed stuff that specifically said it stayed pliant and didn't dry up and become brittle.

as for application, I smeared it all over the rubber pad that sits under the light. made sure to goop it all over the holes I drilled as well.


seemed to work. truck made it through a monsoon season out here in Hawaii. no problems

Ya I put it around the holes that the wires go into and then put the lights on an put it on there too.
