So I want to tap my radar detector into one of the map lights or switches up in the headliner. All I want to do is pull the front down. I removed the A pillars but its still too stiff to pull on. Any ideas?

BTW, my truck is a 2006 Screw Lariat w/ Moonroof and power sliding rear window.
