I used to work for a dealership for three years. I have seen a utility quad flip over backwards onto people before. That is scary as hell Anyways I have never had an issue with loading them knock on wood. Every time I load one I put the ramps securely up against the tailgate. Then I get two straps and strap them both to the truck so they can't pull away from the tailgate. Next put the quad in 4wd and 4lo if yours has it. It makes the power more controllable. Next just stand up and lean over the front of the quad and gradually apply the throttle. I have been riding MX for years so I always have a finger on each lever just in case I need to jam on the binders. All in all that should provide for a nice smooth load

I remember when i would load my yz I would do it by hand and then walk with it along the side of the bed(lifting the bike in). Thank god it was a 2wd chevy and not even just a stock lift 4x4. Im 6ft4 and I used to barely be able hang on enough to put enough leverage on it. lol Now I just ride the thing in there if its a bike. Still lift the quad unless being chased by the cops....
