I guess nothing lasts forever. Sounds like a good legit truck. My truck has this annoying squeak during coasting & not braking, pisses me off, trying to figure out what it is. I'm going to be replacing the pads soon.

Sounds like a plan. Then your modifications can transfer over. Good luck with keeping the black clean though!

Please explain to me what is "broken" on your truck. Nothing that you have complained about prevents your truck from operating normally.

Brakes? Rotors? These are normal wear-and-tear items. Their replacement is just part of normal maintenance like on ANY vehicle. Own any vehicle long enough and they will need replacement, guaranteed.

Fog lights? Squeeks? Rattles? All of these are minor issues that occur commonly on cars and trucks. Because they are minor, the remedies are easy. Like others have posted, the use of off-the-shelf lubricants will solve the sqeeks. The front end rattle is probably due to your break pads being loose in the calipers. And the fog lights have collected water because somebody drove through water deep enough to get them submerged. Like others have posted, a $3 tube of sealant will solve this issue.

Fuel door? Possibly broken due to a careless operator?

Heres a worldly lesson for ya. The cost of vehicle ownership doesn't end with the monthy payments, insurance, and fuel. Replacing normal wear-and-tear items like tires, exhaust, brakes, wiper blades, air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, bulbs, fluids, etc can seem to nickle and dime you to death, but thats what it takes to keep your truck in shape. On average you should be setting aside at least $50.00 each month for normal maintence on your truck.

wow where the ******** did that come from, seriously?

i'm well aware of how much maintenance on a vehicle costs and i know brakes and rotors are normal wear and tear i was simply saying they were two things i needed to replace.

careless ownership broke my fuel door? ha yea i just slam it around like it's a rusty ole POS.

I fricken baby my truck buddy, you can ask anyone that knows me about that, everyone in my family thinks i'm a little obsessed.

the truck has never been submerged in any water since I have owned it, especially not water deep enough to get into the fog lights, the most water it has seen are puddles in the road.

and the rattle is definatley something more serious than my brakes being loose.

I've admited countless times that I don't know alot about the inner workings of vehicles and that is why i come here and post about squeks and rattles so that the people here can help me try to fix the problems without me having to go to some pfessional and get charged an arm and a leg.

Pretty much everyone that has replied to any of my posts has been nothing but helpful, except you...you seem to feel the need to try and belittle me or some crap.
ah well whatever, if it makes ya feel better about yourself then more power to ya buddy
