In my opinion, it balances the look. Especialy if you are running 10" plus of lift. My 37's look pencil width on my truck from the front.

Depending on the angle my 13.50's can sometimes look to narrow, that might be due to my rims being only 8.5" wide though.

I saw an H2 the other day with 38x15.50's on it and I thought it looked goofy. Not a fan of tires that wide unless you go really tall so the tire doesn't start lookin square.

An 8" lift like the rize gets you the height while keepin your cv's close to the stock angle. A 6" kit with a 2" spacer or coilovers cranked gets you there but adds some angle to your cv's.

I got the rize 8" just to keep the cv's close to stock being overly cautious. I'm not a fan of the rize crossmember though, I like the looks of the procomp kit with an additional 2" alot more from the front, just looks cleaner. I'd think a 6" plus coilovers would be close to the price of the 8" rize.

did you just say you like the look of the procomp better??? eeewww!

look if you want it done right you need to spend the extra money. CST and Rize are the only two companies that make 8" lifts... oh and BDS but im not a fan of there stuff. spend the money on an 8" you'll be happier in the long run.

haha...I like the simple bar crossmember instead of the fabtech and rize ones that draw more attention. I've always thought the suspension/underside of a ride should be low key and not draw attention away from the truck. I'm wierd with alot of things though

Thats kinda what i needed to hear, i just hate to think about spending 2600 on a lift but i want atleast 8inches for my 37's.. I live in RedNeck central and need to stand out w Height and Class I want it done right as well.. Who makes a bracket for my airbags? I still tow heavy boat and don't like sag..

I agree completely, but I think fabtech's crossmember looks good and while I like rize Ive never been a big fan of the busy/flashy crossmember. The straight bar pro comp actually looks good in person (pics seems bland and thin) but looks even better with the skid plate-doesn't take away from the look of the truck and adds more of a 4x4/off-road look

the cheapest route with be a pro comp and add a spacer to the stock shocks up front, to the 8" rize. if i was gonna go with 8 inches total, i'd do like tonkatruck did and run the pro comp with the bilsteins. cheaper, get the lift you want, and the bilstein can handle the tires way better than the stock shocks. its not as flashy but throw a skidplate on their and you're good to go. now for the air bag brackets, i think your on your own. those are easy to fab up, make some carboard template and a plasma and you'd be done in no time.

i thought of ya neuspeed5 but i couldn't remember your name

Yeap, looks great and it will get you what you want but...

I just didn't (and still don't) believe it will have held up off-road. Sure may be ok for on-road use but... Angles were bad, IMO.

And PS: for the love of god do stack spacers (ie autospring on top of pro comp.)
