Exclamation Rear Block Lift..ARGGHHHH!!!!!!!

ok so on my True Blue metallic Supercrew fx4.. i have the 2.5" autospring kit, and the Rear AutoSpring 3"block ( replaced my stocks)

im just not happy with the appearance..

basically stock block (1 5/8") sits to low in back
Autospring block (3") sits just a tad to high in rear for my liking,,, i just cant warm up to it..

so does any one know where i can get say a 2 1/4" block at or made??

i think it would sit perfect with that size.. i mean it should its right in the middle of the other 2 options ..

thanks
Mike

oh wait you want a smaller block than the 3" AS, hmmm ok might be easier to order a add a leaf kit or go to a local spring shop and get a leaf made.

they sell a 2.5" block that is almost exactly what you want. Add-a-leafs are a pain to install and make for a rougher ride. I would just replace the block if I were you

yeah Auto spring said they could fabricate me a 1" helper leaf..that will slide right in.. use it along with stock blocks.. would that sit lower than just a 3" block??

i just figured it would be easier just to get a smaller block... plus i like the ride quality with the softness of the stock springs

has anyone done this??

People have removed the blocks to level the truck and installed larger blocks for lifting. So many people have used blocks to do what your doing.
Its the best bet with the least amount of work IMO.

put your stock blocks back on, replace 2.5" leveling kit with a 2" leveling kit. DONE.

They sell 2" also, that might be better for you. I think having a 2.25" block custom made would be too costly for just the extra quarter inch. In my hasty google search I was unable to turn up any 2.25" blocks for sale

Yeah they have to have that as it holds everything together. I believe they have 2 sizes though so double check to see what size "round nub" ya need

I just got my AS 2.5 spacers and 3 rear block Saturday!!
But I do alot of towing so I'd rather it sit high at rest and level towing!

IMO...
I would go with a 2.5 inch block, I'd rather the rear sit a lil high then to low.
