You have the options in front of you. Now it's time to make a decision.

Like I said earlier, the stock block with shims sounds like your best bet to get the exact height you want. (Crap, no beers)

Thanks, the knight chrome wheels look good. Part number for the shim kit is EXP52700. 4 wheel parts has it for 26-27 dollars.

Yes, it's what you need. They install on top of your stock blocks and you can gain 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" or up to 1" depending how many shims you use (8-1/4" shims in a kit). 4 Wheel Parts calls it a driveline alignment shim kit but they are just FORD REAR END SHIMS straight literature from pro comp's web site. I ordered mine from 4 Wheel Parts so ignore whatever title they call it, they work just fine

No, I used to, but I've had a pro comp 6" lift for about 2 months now. I used all 8 (4 per side) with my pro comp lift

so what happened with this. I am looking to raise my rear end up also. I have the 2.5" AS kit and I want the back higher. The easy way is to buy the AS rear block but its ovr $100. Id rather get the ones from 4wheel parts for $30-$40 down the street from my house.

Are you 4wd or 2wd? With 4wd the shim kit is the way to go. I'd say, depending on what you haul/tow, that 3 shims per side (.75") would give you a nice rake.

With 2wd you should get a block or an AAL.

they sell a 2.5" block that is almost exactly what you want. Add-a-leafs are a pain to install and make for a rougher ride. I would just replace the block if I were you
Add-a-leafs are very difficult to install on these trucks because of the size of the leaf spring eye bolts and the location of the exhaust and gas tank. I do prefer the stiffer ride with the add-a-leaf though.
