quick/stupid question.

i dont even know why im asking this, i probly already know the answer.. i was searching for a cheaper place to buy nite-shade and came upon a forum that said if you clear first the black paint over it that it would actually work the same? i thought to myself "is this guy pulling everyones leg, or is he tellin the truth? i know its probly not true put do you think that would work? i have some plexiglass im gonna try it with.

or he could of ment clear mixed with black paint.. im not sure.

with the paint deal, my understanding is that the black gets thinned out hardcore and applied just as thin. ill ask a friend of mine how he does it, he works at a local ford bodyshop and did it on his stang the paint way.

Most people mix the black and clear.

One of my buddies is a body man and he actually took black spray paint straight to the lights then cleared it. Looked amazing and worked great.
So I suppose you could almost do it eiter way.
