Dealer notified me of a new recall
I was at the dealer today... still having transmission troubles, while I was there he told me of a new recall out for our trucks, I say ours as in I do not know what years it covers other then mine which is an 06 Supercrew 5.4L.
Anyway he tells me that a brake booster hose has been know to come loose thus causing a sudden drop in pedal, leaving the feeling of no brakes as extra leg effort will be needed to stop the truck.
Having that fixed as we speak, now if I could just get my vacuum assisted 4WD system working I'd be happy once again, trucks been in and out of the shop since 1st of June.
New Hubs, New Axel's, New Transmission, New IWE solenoids, New Hub Actuators,

I think he's talking about this...
"" The automaker has recalled 2005 and 2006 model year Ford F-150 and Lincoln Mark LT trucks, according to the recall notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on its website on Wednesday.
Ford trucks covered by the recall are equipped with 5.4-liter engines. The brake hose on those trucks can detach from an intake manifold, causing the driver to lose the "assist" function that provides additional power to the brakes, according to the safety notice.
The trucks could still be stopped with remaining braking power but it would require drivers to apply "more force to the pedal," Ford spokesman Wes Sherwood said.
He said Ford had received reports of 11 minor accidents but no injuries because of the brake hose defect.""

x2, having issues with the right front hub sounding like a baseball card in a bike spoke because it is half engaged. Think it has anything to do with my front end being taken apart and replaced 12 times by the dealer over the last year?
My friend said "Man you have a lot of problems with that truck" I said "No I have the same problem a lot". I'm sick of the damn dealer. The truck is out of 3/36 but I keep fighting and they keep fixing since they can not resolve this damn issue. It will be fine for 3 months then acts up again with a different front axle issue.
I even had 4WheelParts look at it and they told me, and put in writing that the vac. hub went bad because it was improperly put back together when Ford rebuilt my axle 2 months ago.
Last time I had it in, the dealer left my truck on the rack with the hood up all night and the heater melted the top of my grill and bug guard.
This is there last chance to right this problem or I am calling the Ford rep.

Dealer walked next door, I live beside the service manager, and told me they are at wits end and we should shoot the truck joking. Now they are waiting for a Ford engineer to come in from out of state and take a look to see what else can be done.
What are the lemon laws, so many days out of service vs. in service over a period of time , can anyone explain to me the details of this.
Look to first post and see what has been done to correct this ice in the blender sound with no fix yet.

Just got my letter today also.
Probably wont go in for the fix for a LOOONG time. My truck is just never at a dealership.
I kept getting letters from Ford for about a year telling me to get the dang cruise control thing fixed. It still hadnt been done when I traded it in
