listen man how much is the beltech kit running for? i got a 3/4 kit pretty cheap if i remember. i do sell them though so i get breaks every now and then. here's some calculations i did this morning.. i slowed down from normally 85mph to 65mph this morning on the way to work. went from 14.4 to 16.7mpg. that's a little of 2 mpg. hell that's $8 bucks one way. buy the damn drop kit and slow down for about a month and it'll pay for itself.

I wouldnt cut the factory one, trust me those bolts are thick and strong.... plus using as many stock parts as possible is always a good thing
